Introduction and Scope
These Sports Rules govern all bets placed on 9vgo’s sportsbook. By placing a bet, you agree to comply with these rules, including any amendments published by 9vgo. The rules apply to all sports markets, events, and bet types available on the platform unless a specific market rule states otherwise.
Eligibility, Accounts, and Identity
Only individuals who meet the applicable legal age in their jurisdiction and who have completed the required identity verification may place bets on 9vgo. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. 9vgo may suspend or close any account suspected of fraud, collusion, or other prohibited activity, and may request additional documentation to verify identity or residence at any time.
Bets, Markets, and Eligible Bets
Markets include but are not limited to: win/draw/win (1X, X2, 12), handicaps, totals, correct score, half-time/full-time (HT-FT), period-by-period bets, time-interval bets, and outright markets. Outright markets refer to participants or outcomes decided over a season or competition, and are subject to special settlement rules. Bets on related events within the same match or competition may be restricted or refunded as determined by 9vgo. The client remains responsible for selecting valid markets, and 9vgo may refuse bets or limit markets in accordance with risk controls.
Bet Acceptance, Validity, and Pre-Event Bets
- Bets are accepted based on the line in effect at the moment of bet acceptance. Unless otherwise stated, bets placed before an event starts are valid under the posted terms for that event.
- Bets placed after the official start of an event are subject to market rules and may be settled at a default odds value if the start time or odds change after acceptance. Bets registered but not recorded or sent due to a technical issue may be re-submitted or refunded at 9vgo’s discretion.
- After acceptance, changes to the market odds or structure do not affect bets already accepted, except where a palpable error or technical issue warrants adjustment or cancellation under these rules.
Live (In-Play) Betting
Live bets are accepted during an event on outcomes with undetermined results. Live odds update in real time to reflect ongoing play. Live bets settle based on the official results as they become known; subsequent changes to a result after settlement are not applied to settled bets unless a formal re-settlement is undertaken under these rules. Claims for Live bets must be submitted within 24 hours of the event start. If an event is abandoned or not completed within 48 hours of initiation, bets on unsettled outcomes may be voided or refunded at odds of 1 unless results are decisively determined by official sources.
Settlement Rules and Postponed/Abandoned Events
- Settlements rely on official results published by the pertinent governing body or organizer. Where an event is postponed, rescheduled, or abandoned, 9vgo reserves the right to settle markets in accordance with the official outcome or to void undecided bets if no official outcome is determined within the applicable window (commonly 48 hours).
- If a venue, schedule, or format changes materially, 9vgo may cancel or void affected bets. Changes to duration, distance, or number of periods may result in voiding affected markets.
- In cases of suspected fraud or manipulation, 9vgo may withhold settlement, void bets, or inform regulatory authorities. Settlement may be reversed if authorities issue a ruling that affects the market outcome, provided such ruling is published before the conclusion of the relevant event window.
Outright Markets and the Play-or-Pay Principle
Outright markets (season-long or multi-competition bets) are subject to the Play-or-Pay rule: a participant listed in an Outright market will be treated as settled as a loss if they fail to participate, regardless of the reason. Head-to-head (H2H) markets are excluded from this rule; if a participant is replaced, team-based markets may stand, while individual performance markets may be void. In case of replacement within the same team, team markets remain valid and individual markets for the original participant may be voided.
Specific Market Types and Definitions
- Single bets are created on a single event outcome and pay the stake multiplied by the odds at acceptance.
- Accumulator/Multiple bets combine multiple independent events; all selections must win for the bet to be successful. If any selection fails, the entire bet loses; payout is the product of the individual odds and stakes.
- System bets comprise multiple accumulators of the same size; each component is settled separately, and payouts are summed.
- Conditional bets consist of a main part and subsequent parts funded from winnings of the main part. The main part must win for any Conditional bet to pay out; otherwise, all Conditional bets fail.
- Handicap represents a virtual adjustment to a team's final score. Negative handicap requires the favored team to win by more than the stated margin; positive handicap allows loss by the margin or less.
- Total bets refer to the aggregate score (goals, points, etc.) and pay if the final total is over or under the quoted threshold, as stated in the market.
- Correct Score requires the exact final score.
- HT-FT requires the result at halftime and at full time to meet the specified outcomes.
- Time Intervals involve outcomes within defined in-match time windows (e.g., first 20 minutes, second half, etc.).
- To Qualify/To Reach and related markets assess a participant’s progression in a competition; if a participant is later disqualified or the event is not completed, settlements follow the official results.
Tie-Breakers, Overround, and Rounding
All odds are presented with standard precision. On-screen odds are rounded to two decimal places for display; total odds are calculated with additional precision as defined by internal policy. Any discrepancies between displayed and settled amounts shall be resolved in accordance with the official settlement rules in force at the time of settlement.
Technical Issues, Disruptions, and Security
In the event of a system interruption or a technical fault affecting bet placement, 9vgo will apply standard checks for funds, odds accuracy, and event status. Bets may be accepted or rejected as appropriate when the platform resumes. If a bet is registered on the server but not acknowledged due to connectivity issues, clients should review their betting history to confirm acceptance. All customer data and transactions are protected under applicable data protection and security standards.
Fraud Prevention, Dispute Resolution, and Amendments
9vgo reserves the right to void bets, suspend or close accounts, or reverse settlements if fraud, collusion, or manipulation is suspected. Where regulatory bodies have jurisdiction, 9vgo will cooperate and act in accordance with their determinations. Disputes regarding settlements must be raised within 30 days of the event’s conclusion; unresolved issues may be subject to re-settlement if supported by official records or regulatory guidance.
Important Notices and Compliance
9vgo may update these rules at any time. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Players must comply with all applicable laws and age restrictions. By placing bets, you confirm you have read and understood these rules and agree to be bound by them.
